  • Shooting Demonstrations - Delegates, visitors and military personnel will have the chance to test new firearms and ammunition that will be revealed at the event. 
  • Warship Display - VIP’s and visitors will have the opportunity to examine today’s most technologically advanced warships and naval fleets.
  • Military Vehicle Demonstrations - The Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) alongside industry partners will demonstrate the latest cutting edge military vehicle capabilities on a specially designed course.
  • MEMAC Conference - The Middle East Military Alliances and Coalitions (MEMAC) Conference will seek to address many of the challenges facing the region, and the wider global implications. The approach will be both political, with support from the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, and military with the regions military experts and coalition commanders discussing real threats and real solutions.
  • Static Display Area - BIDEC will also unveil a Static Display Area within the exhibition showcasing latest military vehicles and airframes.

The latest BIDEC 2017 updates and other defence and security news in the Middle East
  • Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defense Force (BDF), Field Marshal Sheikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa received in Manama the Commander of the Italian Naval Fleet, Vice admiral Danato Marzano, and his accompanying delegation, Bahrain News Agency (BNA) reported.
  • Bahrain’s Defense Affairs Minister Lt-General Yusuf bin Ahmed Al Jalahma received a delegation from the US Congress, and discussed cooperation and topics of mutual interest, Bahrain News Agency (BNA) reported.

    The meeting was also attended by Bahrain Defense Force Inspector-General Major General Abdulla Hassan Al Nuaimi, Director of Logistics and Supply Major General Ali Sager Al-Nuaimi and Director of Military Cooperation Rear admiral Mohammed Hashim Al Saada.
