Parachute Demonstrations

Companies will showcase their latest parachute systems in a pioneering display with the Bahrain Defence Force. Visitors with the appropriate military free-fall license will be given the opportunity to trial these products.

What is included for those that take part?

  • Exclusive use of two Bahrain Defence Force Black Hawk Helicopters
  • Each trip includes 7 instructors and 7 jumpers
  • Each day will see between 50-80 jumpers
  • All jumping to UK standards and regulations
  • Sessions on Day 2 and 3 of BIDEC

The jumpers will include members of the following:

  • Bahrain Defence Force
  • Ministry of Interior
  • National Guard
  • Bahrain Navy Special Forces
  • Royal Guard Special Forces
  • United States Navy Seals

  • Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defense Force (BDF), Field Marshal Sheikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, received at the BDF’s General Command, the Commander of US Naval Forces Central Command, and the Commander of the US Fifth Fleet, Admiral Donegan Kevin, and his accompanying delegation.
  • Bahrain Defense Force Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Sheikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa received outgoing Chief of Joint Operations of British Forces, Lt. General John Lorimer, who accompanied his replacement Vice Admiral Timothy Peter Fraser, Bahrain News Agency (BNA) reported.
