Delegates, visitors and military personnel will have the chance to test new firearms and ammunition on a purpose-built shooting range on Bahrain National Guard grounds, alongside the Vehicle Demonstrations. Visitors will be able to access the grounds by shuttle buses provided from the exhibition centre on Day 2 afternoon.

The latest BIDEC 2017 updates and other defence and security news in the Middle East
  • Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defense Force (BDF), Field Marshal Sheikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa received in Manama the Commander of the Italian Naval Fleet, Vice admiral Danato Marzano, and his accompanying delegation, Bahrain News Agency (BNA) reported.
  • Bahrain’s Defense Affairs Minister Lt-General Yusuf bin Ahmed Al Jalahma received a delegation from the US Congress, and discussed cooperation and topics of mutual interest, Bahrain News Agency (BNA) reported.

    The meeting was also attended by Bahrain Defense Force Inspector-General Major General Abdulla Hassan Al Nuaimi, Director of Logistics and Supply Major General Ali Sager Al-Nuaimi and Director of Military Cooperation Rear admiral Mohammed Hashim Al Saada.
