Bahrain Defense Chief Receives Pakistan Navy Chief-of-Staff
Bahrain Defense Force (BDF) Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Sheikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa received in Manama Pakistan Navy Chief-of-Staff Admiral Zafar Mahmoud Abbasi (photo) and the accompanying delegation, in presence of BDF Chief-of-Staff Lt-General Dhiab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi.
The BDF Commander-in-Chief praised the outstanding friendship ties between Bahrain and Pakistan, noting the advanced military cooperation, Bahrain News Agency (BNA) reported.
Director of the BDF General Command HQs Major-General Hassan Mohamed Saad, Assistant Chief of Staff for Logistics & Catering Naval Major-General Yousef Ahmed MalAllah, Director of Military Cooperation Major-General Mohamed Hashem Al Sada, and Royal Navy Forces Commander Commodore Mohammed Yousef Al-Asam, were also present.
Furthermore, the Pakistan Navy Chief-of-Staff visited Bahrain Military Museum where he was welcomed by Media and Moral Guidance Director Major General Mohammed Qatami Al-Kabisi.
The Pakistani guest was informed about the Museum’s halls and sections which contain a collection of historical collectibles, artistic military paintings and models that are considered as a documentation archive of Bahrain’s military history.
The Commander-in-Chief of Bahrain Defense Force (BDF) also received Algerian Non-resident Military Attaché to Bahrain Colonel Alalqa Lakhdhar. The meeting was attended by Algerian Ambassador to Bahrain Qadri Al Sayah.
The BDF Commander-in-Chief welcomed the Algerian military official, lauding the deep-rooted relations between the two brotherly countries and their perpetual growth in various fields.
Present at the meeting were General Command Court Director Major General Hassan Mohammed Sa’ad and Military Cooperation Director Rear Admiral Mohammed Hashim Al Sadah.
For his part, the Chief-of-Staff of Bahrain Defense Force (BDF) Lieutenant General Dhiab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi received a delegation from Jordanian Armed Forces Command and Staff College led by Brigadier Eng. Ali Ibrahim Mohammed Al Rawsan.
The BDF Chief-of-Staff welcomed them, lauding deep-rooted fraternal ties binding Bahrain and Jordan.
