Bahrain’s Commander-in-Chief Receives US Secretary of Navy
The BDF Commander-in-Chief welcomed the US Secretary of the Navy and his accompanying delegation and reviewed historical relations of friendship and cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the USA.
Both sides also discussed issues pertaining to military cooperation between the two friendly countries, according to Bahrain News Agency (BNA).
The meeting was attended by General Command Court Director Major General Hassan Mohammed Sa’ad, Assistant Chief-of-Staff for Supply and Catering Rear Admiral Yousef Ahmed Malallah, Royal Bahrain Air Force Commander Air Vice-Marshal Shaikh Hamad bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Royal Bahrain Naval Force Commander Rear Admiral Mohammed Yousef Al-Asam and Senior BDF Officers.
The Commander-in-Chief also received Tuesday Bahrain’s Minister of Finance and National Economy, HE Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa.
The BDF Commander-in-Chief welcomed him and discussed with him issues pertaining to cooperation between BDF and the Ministry of Finance and National Economy.
Meanwhile, Bahrain Defense Force (BDF) held Tuesday at the Royal Defense Force Training Centre a graduation ceremony for a specialized officers military session.
The ceremony was attended by Assistant Chief-of-Staff for Operations, Major General Ghanim Ibrahim Al Fadhala.
A briefing was given on the session and its training stages. Then, the Assistant Chief of Staff for Operations presented the graduates and top achievers with certificates and prizes of appreciation.
Present at the graduation ceremony were Military Training Director Major General Salah Rashid Al Sa’ad and a number of Senior BDF Officers.
